The cooperation will highlight five shoe styles that consolidate both de Vilmorin’s “amazing inventive world” and Russo’s “ageless vision and savoir-faire” including knee-high boots, a loafer and three stiletto styles.
Each shoe has been redone in an elite print planned by de Vilmorin, with the French creator hand-painting each pair before the vivid examples were imprinted on cowhide.
Remarking on the coordinated effort, Charles de Vilmorin said in an assertion: “This cooperation is the ideal blend between my shrewd method of working and the careful, building approach of Francesco Russo’s work.
“I love the immortality and look that accompany Francesco Russo’s manifestations. For this assortment, I hand-painted tones and examples straightforwardly onto the shoes, such that felt exceptionally intuitive. What’s particularly intriguing is the meeting up of Francesco Russo’s customary savoir-faire and the intuitive, fun-loving way that I approach to plan. These pieces are exquisite, enticing, inventive and brilliant.”
Francesco Russo added: “Since dispatching his eponymous line in 2020, I’ve forever been astonished by the nonexistent of Charles and every one of his drawings. Considering my old style outline to be material for his inventiveness is an incredible gift.”
The Francesco Russo x Charles de Vilmorin case assortment will be accessible on Francesco Russo’s site at a determination of retailers from April/May 2022. Costs range from 595 euros for stilettos to 1,500 euros for knee-high boots.
