With an extensive background in sales and interest in the solar power industry, Anderson decided it was time for a different approach to running a renewable energy company. Devin started up SourceNRG with a confident business model, “I felt like no one could do it better. I’ve worked in the corporate arena, the smaller ‘mom and pop’ arena, and the 1099 arena. There is no equalizer, no organization that did everything exceptionally well across the board,” he says. Today, Anderson and his team are revolutionizing the way we produce and consume energy.
Anderson’s mission is to offer homeowners a more effective and transparent transition to renewable energy, help protect the environment, and save people money. Whether it’s helping his team member’s find their true potential or helping a customer reduce their electricity costs and carbon footprint, Devin is always putting others first. “I worked for a company that valued their customer, but did not empower their salespeople, it felt like a cult. Conversely, I worked for a company that valued its salespeople, at the cost of their customers and other employees. I also worked for two startups that went under due to mismanaged money. Instead of hiring a controller or a CFO, they dumped all of their money into advertisements that didn’t return any profits, they basically overleveraged themselves and crumbled,” he says.
At just 22 years old, Devin Anderson is a self-made millionaire and entrepreneur. Working from the ground up, SourceNRG is now a $30 million dollar company.
