Jim Amen is the CEO and broker of successful real estate brokerage, Amen Real Estate. Amen has 18 years in the industry and has seen the worst of the field, starting his career during the infamous housing crisis of 2008. Despite entering real estate during a housing crash, Jim was able to sell over three million dollars (reflecting the prices in 2008) in homes as a full time realtor. Now, he’s teaching others how to do the same.
With the recession making a major impact on Amen as an appraiser at the time, Jim decided he needed to make a career change. “I had already gotten my brokers license, so I immediately pivoted and put all my energy into learning everything I could about selling foreclosures and shortsales,” says Amen. Even in the face of a recession, Amen was determined to overcome the housing crash.
Today, Amen Real Estate is a thriving real estate agency in California. Specializing in working with online leads, Amen Real Estate has produced major results. With over two-hundred fifty million dollars worth of real estate sold and over 100 five star reviews, Jim has built a reputable agency that can be trusted. Not wanting to box himself in being a part of a big brokerage, Amen focuses his career on coaching and educating his new agents so they too can achieve their dreams.
Jim is also the Founder and Trainer at Amen Bootcamp, Amen is also the Founder and Trainer at Amen Bootcamp, where coaching and training is taught to new and experienced real estate agents from all over the country with any brokerage. Amen is devoted to making sure those who are entering the real estate industry have the tools necessary to be successful. “I’ve made it my mission to give back to the realtor community by providing agent training and coaching.” With 87% of new agents failing within the first 5 years, Jim decided to combat these numbers with his training program.

Amen says, “If your chair only has one leg, it is hard to stay balanced, but if it has four sturdy legs your chance of falling over is slim.” This is just one of the many tips and tricks Amen is educating realtors on.
Amen is not only an extraordinary business owner, but also a leader. Keeping busy and devoted to continuing helping others reach their true potential, his next project includes publishing his book, The Insider’s Guide for New Realtors… How to Get to the Top by Starting at the Bottom.
