Offering luxury service and vegan products since founded in 2022, Elite Beauty Bar Aesthetics and Wellness is based on a belief that beauty is healthy and from the heart. The company prides itself in connecting with its clients and offering them healthy options to be the most authentic version of themselves.

We had the opportunity to sit down with Gisella, the founder of Elite Beauty Bar, to explore her journey in bringing this exceptional beauty bar to life. Gisella’s adventure in the beauty industry started with a simple desire to revamp her presence on social media. Her search for the perfect Instagram username led to the creation of ‘Elite Beauty by Gisella.’ This name encompassed the essence of luxury, affordability, and her extensive range of beauty treatments. Her passion for learning and ability to adapt to the beauty industry propelled her desire to create something wonderful.

Gisella attributes her success to the power of teamwork and collaboration. The journey to the official launch of Elite Beauty Bar was not without its challenges, including vendor selection and meticulous timeline management. Gisella and her team continued to work hard to ensure every detail was met. Gisella also attributed her success to NOW PR stating, “Now PR LA helped us as well and make sure that I’m doing the right branding and marketing for my beauty bar.”

Elite Beauty Bar is the first and only one-stop beauty shop in Pasadena. It’s a full service salon. From nails, hair, facials, waxing, brows, lashes, and much more. Aside from that, they hand pick their products in terms of efficacy, being healthy, and innovative.

During the grand launch, the spotlight will shine on the beauty brands Jazzy France, Pinkies Collections, and ASIDA Paris. These brands boast Filipino roots and French quality, with a commitment to cruelty-free, vegan, and natural products. It’s a testament to Gisella’s pride in her Filipino heritage and dedication to promoting ethical beauty.

“I’m proud to say that these are the first Filipino cosmetics that are made in France and I’m proud of it as I am a Filipino as well. They are cruelty-free, vegan, and natural,” said Gisella.

Elite Beauty Bar’s pre-launch marketing strategy included a soft opening, word-of-mouth marketing, outreach to luxury hotels and wellness businesses, voucher giveaways, and a strong social media presence on platforms like Instagram. Monthly articles also played a part in ensuring a digital and print presence that reached a wide audience.

Elite Beauty Bar’s team did its own research and made connections in order to plan, organize, and finish on time. Its teamwork makes everything possible and every day is very productive for them. They have a checklist each day to accomplish what needs to be done. Gisella highlights the importance of timeless and classic beauty, combined with natural and vegan ingredients. In an industry where trends constantly change, by maintaining a focus on health and natural beauty it will continue to remain relevant and appealing to consumers.

The official launch date was strategically chosen as September 28, 2023. Gisella’s graduation from Esthetician School on September 8, 2023, allowed her to fully focus on the grand opening. This date also marked the beginning of the “ber” months, a time of anticipation and excitement for the holiday season. Thursday is the busiest day of the week in Pasadena and was chosen to ensure a thriving launch event.

Elite Beauty Bar took advantage of the power of online platforms to create excitement and anticipation around its launch. From digital invitations and hard copy invitations to foam board posters outside the salon, email marketing, and social media engagement, everything was taken into consideration to ensure that the community was aware of this exciting addition to Pasadena.

Throughout Gisella’s journey, she has taken away several valuable lessons for aspiring beauty industry entrepreneurs:
