- The Matrix is back—and the film’s star, Carrie-Anne Moss, found the ideal dress to commend its return.
For the previous evening’s debut of The Matrix Resurrections in San Francisco, Moss wore a uniquely creased silk chiffon Oscar de la Renta outfit and cape, taking the smooth, monochromatic style of her adored person Trinity and loaning it a stylish turn. Furthermore here, Satan was genuinely in the subtleties, civility of Moss’ beautician Sydney Lopez and creators Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia.
Look nearer, and the dress highlighted weaved green and silver sequins and crochet, cunningly repeating the film’s renowned “computerized downpour” opening grouping of looking over green text. For the final detail, Moss and Lopez added a couple of custom Lillian Shalom studs, made to shape dangerously sharp three-sided pendants. It was sufficient to make even the most a la mode of science fiction superheroes desirous.
There were a lot of other Matrix-referring to hopes to require in on final evening’s honorary pathway, as well, from Priyanka Chopra’s impressive retrofuturistic Halpern dress with a thigh-high split to Jada Pinkett-Smith’s surging red Giambattista Valli outfit. (As per her Instagram, a gesture to the film’s “red pill,” normally.)
